Going to a driving school is not one of the things which you would enjoy the most. As a matter of fact, learning how to drive in a school for drivers is, perhaps, one of the things which you will find to be most boring. Indeed, here are some of the things which make driving lessons in Liverpool boring.

One, typical schools offering these lessons for drivers follow the strict laws of the state where you belong. Of course, this means that you would really go through the basics of driving.

The Reasons. Basically, not all drivers are really ignorant about driving. A lot of those who want to learn are not really there for the learning experience itself, but, rather, for the certificate. In other words, these people are already drivers themselves but do not have yet the formal acknowledgement that they are, indeed, real drivers. Of course, if you are already a semi-pro with some experience in your shoulders, learning about the ten o’clock and one o’ clock position would be a boredom of the highest level.

For first time drivers, of course, learning about the basics on how to operate the front wheel can be challenge in itself and would not be very boring. Indeed, it takes a lot of time to master holding the clutch while, at the same time, operating the engine and the brakes.

Of course, in time, you will learn all these things with relative speed and ease. From this time onward, all the exercises which will be given to you will be pretty boring.

As an unlicensed driver hoping to get a certificate, you will be subjected to plentiful exercises meant to make you master the craft of operating your car. However, you need to understand from the exciting shows that you see on TV that fuel adrenalin rush. Starting to learn how to drive your car is far from pushing your adrenalin. Indeed, you will be forced or required to follow a certain speed limit from, say, 20 kms per hour. Indeed, this speed is pretty damn dreary.

To top it all, you will be moving from one point to another – a very insignificant experience for someone who wants to test his car know-how mettle. If you had control of things, you would seriously make revisions to make your driving lessons more exciting like, for example, adding a few more notches in the speed limit, or by adding twists and bend in the road.

Everyone knows that a mobile is a great way to distract your children at bedtime and let the accidentally drift off into a quiet snooze, but it's time to ditch the gaudy plastic, music-playing mobile in favor of one of these beautiful homemade designs. They're simple to make and add a really personal touch to you child's room. Plus if you make a more sophisticated mobile it can grow with your child.

You don't need to be a pro with a sewing machine to make a mobile, and you can choose any creative design that works in your room's theme. From birds to clouds to houses, the more unique the better. Felt is a really quick way of making a mobile. Just cut out two matching shapes, sew almost completely together, then stuff with cotton wool and sew up to finish. Felt doesn't fray and you can use pinking shears to make a really cute effect.

Remember you are not limited to fabric and paper! Try collecting small plastic toys and spray painting them, cutting a design out of MDF, or collecting glass trinkets that reflect the sunlight!

Cork notice boards are very popular devices that we use at home. A notice board, also known simply as a board, is a very important tool which we can use at home, in our office, or even in school. Indeed, these devices have a lot of uses that they are pretty vital for the daily function of those respective places.

For one, a board where you can put important reminders so that forgetting them becomes a thing of the past. Basically, we display our board in places where we commonly stay. For example, at home, we usually place a board in the ref, sometimes we place them in our mini office, and sometimes in a strategic spot in the kitchen. Of course, the important thing about is that the board should be at eye level so that it is easy to spot.

A cork board, of course, is much preferred over the other forms because of the fact that they are easier to maintain. In other words, the organic kind of board does not really require a lot of cleaning since it does not really absorb stain pretty well. Since this kind of board is pretty cheap, one will not be forced to clean it on a regular basis. If you buy the synthetic board, you will be made to clean it often because it becomes greasy easily. Furthermore, corks have this natural flexibility which makes them more durable over the synthetic ones.

Of course, the most important feature of this kind of board is that, unlike a synthetic board which contain certain chemicals,  corks are all natural and are, therefore, safe. This is especially very important when used in school where there are lots of children. It is important to note that a sign board is a very important instructional material because it is a very versatile device. Basically, learners, young and old, can make a variety of applications with the sign board making the entire learning process more effective. Any board with synthetic materials may be used, of course, but there are health issues with its use.

In the office, too, the sign board, too, is pretty beneficial. With a very toxic nature, it would truly help if we have a board that would constantly remind us of the next important thing to do.

Whether the cork notice boards are to be used at home, in the office, or in school, what is certain is that we will always love them because of its natural appeal and usefulness.

When was the last time you went to a great party? The good parties are the ones we remember, whether it was the venue, the music, the food, the people, or a combination of everything, we all enjoy a good party. If you’re planning on hosting your own party, it’s important to try to get everything right; you’d rather have a party people will remember for a good reason, not a horrific one. Plan everything from the venue, to the guest list, to the party band manchester, and don’t forget about any of the small details either!

Start with a theme, every party has a theme, whether you can figure out what it is or not. If you’re looking for inspiration, try a cultural theme, like Bollywood theme; you could have Indian dishes and decorations, as well as some costumes, and even belly dancers! Thinking of a party theme is fun, and it’s the start to planning the rest. When you have a theme in mind, try to think of relevant food, drinks, decorations and entertainment. A good party is one that looks good!

Think about your guest list, are you going to have an extravagant number of people, or is it a more intimate event? Depending on the size of your guest list, you might have to rethink a venue. Evaluate the two together and try to have everyone RSVP as soon as possible so you can make any necessary changes for the venue.

One of the more trivial components of a party is the entertainment, whether you’ll have live music, a magician, or some sort of games, it’s entirely up to you, but you still need to have everyone entertained. Do you want to have live music, and if so, what kind of music: a mariachi band or an electronic d-j? Think about what kind of music will fit in with your themed party and also what kind of music people will enjoy. Even if you have a cowboy-themed party, maybe a country band isn’t the hottest choice on the menu, you could try a soulful singer or still go with the classic pop tunes everyone knows and loves.

Make yourself a checklist: venue, food, party band, entertainment, and don’t forget fun! Putting together a great party can take a lot of effort, but it will be worth it when everyone is raving about your amazing party weeks later. Give your friends something to be excited about, throw an amazing party they’ll remember, and one you’ll remember too!

So many people love celebrating Valentines day, but just as many people hate buying into the commercialism of it; what is so romantic about a card bought from a shop and a cuddle toy printed with kisses? If you'd really like to show your other half how much you love them this year, if you want to save money but still give them something heartfelt, then this is the guide for you.

Cupcakes
Literally put your heart into your baking by making these adorable cupcakes! It's a simple method but it takes a fair bit of time; just bake up a sheet-tin cake dyed pink or red, depending on what colour you want your heart to be, then when it has cooked and cooled, take a small heart shaped cutter and create your centers. You then need to whip up a batch of your favourite cupcake recipe; line a muffin tin with cupcake cases, and place a baked heart in the centre of each; you then fill the remaining space around them with cupcake batter, so that the baked heart stays standing upright. This should mean when your cupcakes are done they will have a perfect heart shape when cut in half! (Or bitten into!).

Chocolates
Making your own chocolates couldn't be easier! And best of all, they look incredible with very little effort; all you need is to find a silicon mould in the shape you want your chocolates to be. You can then find chocolate recipes all over the internet, but i can be as simple as melting your favourite chocolate bar in the microwave then placing a nut in the centre when they are half set, or if you want filled chocolates, paint the melted chocolate around the edges of the mould, leave it to set, add your filling (raspberry cream is good for valentines!) then add more melted chocolate to seal the filling in. You can present these if paper boxes with pretty tissue, or hand wrap them in a little baking paper, then some decorative paper.

Nail Polish
Finally if you celebrate valentines with your friends instead, this tutorial is easy and looks like an expensive nail polish! Get a few cheap bottle of clear nail polish, and purchase some of your favourite glitters; heart shaped works really well, but you can do this tutorial with pink fine glitter. Add the glitter to the clear polish until you have the density of glitter you want. It's as simple as that!

It's one of the top ideas for new start up businesses, and it's the best way of sourcing unique jewellery at a fraction of the price you find in high street stores, so if you want to make your own jewellery, where is the best place to look? Good news is most independent jewellery making suppliers source the same charms as high street stores, meaning you can most likely find the bits and pieces to reproduce any jewellery you find on the high street if you have a good look around on the web. One of the top sources is eBay, where Chinese manufacturers sell their charms in bulk. A good tip is to contact these sellers if you are looking for something in particular as most will do commissioned designs if you fancy yourself as a jewellery designer; or if you are looking to become a business you can negotiate a great wholesale price. Don't forget to purchase some grip seal bags to store your jewellery findings safely!

Another great idea, if you are looking to make jewellery unlike any other, is to source some salvaged lots of broken and odd vintage jewellery. Etsy seller Savage Attic has that covered; they regularly update their listing with a lot of great finds, and save you the effort of trawling through antiques shops.
If you're looking to make personalised jewellery you can purchase a stamping kit; think of it as a much quicker way of writing a personal message on your jewellery than engraving. You can use this kit of silver clay or any other sort of modelling clay to create jewellery made from interesting and unique materials.
Finally my favourite idea for jewellery making is to source some adorable Kawaii charms. These doughnuts are from Evez Beadz and would make a great charm bracelet or bag charm. People are very tempted by cute things, so making incredibly sweet jewellery is a great market to be in. You can also find chocolates, marshmallows, strawberries and lollypops on Etsy, so search for Kawaii for some inspiration.

It seems the high street has given up, so it's no surprise we've all turned to DIY fashion to express our personal style without the constraints of money and trends. Making your own clothes is a great way of obtaining fashion suited for your figure, it's especially hard to find fashionable ladies plus size dresses or good tailoring for petite girls, and you can have full control of colours, shape and fabrics by making your own clothes, it means you can always pick what flatters you best.

P.S I Made This is an excellent resounce for DIY fashion inspiration, it is regularly updated with new and exciting tutorials that are often very cheap and extremely easy to make. You can find out how to make anything from this tank top emblazoned with metallic safety pins, to a sequin applique belt.

So, we're in a recession and we have a tight hold of our money and an unwillingness to let go of it, so how do we still spoil the people we love in the season of giving, excess and extravagance? The key is to replacing cost with hard work and making our own homemade gifts to give away. It takes a little longer, but the satisfaction of giving away a present that will really be appreciated for the thought that went into making it.
Best of all you can batch produce one craft and you have the control to make everyone their own favourite colour in what you have made, and add any extra personalization. When all wrapped up with lovely hand printed wrapping paper, it'll make your Christmases if anything, more special.

1. Homemade Lipgloss
This lovely delicate tutorial from Torie Jayne is for how to make strawberry sparkle lip gloss, the perfect gift for Christmas day to glam up your party look. The colour is added to this mix with lipstick shavings, so you can make it any colour you can find to flatter your friends. Try adding different scents and colours of glitter for some really unique make-up you can't find on the high street.

2. Painted Tote Bags
Are you a dab hand with a paint brush? Then you can create this present from Amusing no problem. Even if you're not great at sewing nothing can be much easier to make than a tote bag. Just grab some fabric paint, you can purchase festive glitter paints and metallics from dylon now, and get creative. Anything from a simple graphic in the centre to a work of art can look good, and canvas fabric is super easy to paint on to.

3.Handmade Vintage Bookmarks
For the bookworm in your life look to The Vintage Lemon for a beautiful tutorial on how to make a bookmark that will last and always look lovely. Help them throw away the crumpled piece of paper they have been using, and save the corners of the classic book from being folded, you can churn out an impressive amount of these during a night in by the fire, so they're a great simple gift to keep in for any unexpected visitors.

4. DIY Coasters
Ok, this tutorial was designed for wedding favours but surely coasters are a great gift idea when drinks are one of the biggest parts of christmas, i'm not just talking about tipples, who could say no to these coasters made from your favourite fabric, wrapped up in a hamper with a beautiful hot chocolate mug and some handmade biscuits? You can find the How-to at Bayside Bride.

5. Cup Cozies
Keep your mittens warm but your hands protected from the burns of toastie hot drinks with these woolen cup cozies, they're a great accessory for the winter and would make a great accompaniment to the increasingly popular ceramic take away cups. Add charms or pom-pom trimming for a really festive look. The tutorial is from Simply Notable.

The holidays are creeping in as quickly as the cold weather, and it seems November is the month when everyone panics and realises Christmas is on their doorstep. Stay a step ahead of everyone and getting planning with these recipes for some pretty Christmas party canapes. You can add something special to a Christmas buffet in no time, and some of these recipes can be made in advance and stored. When making biscuits a top tip is to make the dough and then freeze it; dough keeps very well frozen. Also chocolate bark is great to keep in your fridge for ages, and can be quickly wrapped up in cellophane for a gift for an impromptu guest.
These Christmas tree meringues are perfect bite-size nibbles from Penguin Says Feed Me, piping is difficult but if you get shiny peaks from your meringue you can easily get the right shape with the right piping tip, just remember to allow room for the mixture to settle and spread out a little. It really helps if you draw 2cm circles on your baking paper as a guide. The sprinkles may sometimes be difficult to source but eBay is an excellent place to find baking decorations.
If you're literally a sucker for cute things, these Snow Man Cake Pops from We Choose Organic are perfect. A great treat for kids on chirsmas day, these pops are filled with an oreo and cream cheese mixture and dipped in white chocolate. Remember that when you form the snowmen shapes out of the mixture you need to pop them in the fridge for ten minutes so they don't fall apart when you cover them in chocolate. You need a delicate hand with this recipe as well to paint on the little eyes and mouth!
These Christmas Tree Cupcakes featured on Babble.com look extremely technical but they're actually quite simple! The snowy tree peaks are frosting covered tips from ice cream cones. You can use any cupcake recipe but for something Christmas use a red velvet cupcake recipe.
Finally make some Christmas Bark, as featured on Feasts and Fotos. Chocolate bark screams Christmas, especially with the flavours of fruits and nuts and dark chocolate. It's perfect served with a cup of hot chocolate on Christmas eve night.
